Replacement gear indicator chain for Sturmey Archer 3 speed equipped Bromptons (or other bikes). Once fitted keep this clean and lubricated for best possible function. Check your existing toggle chain to identify whether you require red type. The colour refers to a painted dot or stripe on the rod section of the indicator. This stripe should be lined up with the end of the axle when in second gear. Adjust with the threaded section of the toggle chain and gear anchorage on the gear cable.
